Two polls in NH with Trump up this AM. Poll in CO with it tied, joining the VA poll from yesterday with Trump up 3.

in all seriousness, how is this happening? nothing has happened to make this make sense.

also there is one where she is up 1 in arizona. there is so much noise and it is just confusing.

yeah it makes no sense. these polls suggest 4 to 5 million people are just changing their minds with such frequency it seems unfathomable.

i spoke to somebody today that thought you couldn't vote for a person IN THE GENERAL ELECTION if you weren't registered as that person's party.

That VA poll from Hampton U is such an outlier that it simply cannot be taken at face value. It was a two-way poll and had an undecided of 15%.

RCP doesn't even use them to compute their VA average.

My theory is that there were several million votes "parked" on Gary Johnson. The more he seemed unqualified, the more it seemed to people like a stupid idea to make a protest vote. So now they've decided to get back in the game and pick between 1 of the 2 that have a chance. And more of those are favoring Trump than Clinton because they were more Republican based to begin with.

There are some numbers out there suggesting that a two-way race favors Clinton. So I don't know what to think there.

It probably depends on the specific state. It definitely seems like the Johnson defectors here in VA are moving to Trump, but that's not surprising here.

have a friend in texas that voted for johnson. pretty sure she cannot articulate one thing about him.
