"Because of a great company like Yuengling," Trump said, "workers can educate their kids and live a prosperous lifestyle."
Trump said high taxes, over-regulation and Obamacare are "destroying" American businesses - a familiar theme of the Trump campaign.
"My father's going to make it a lot easier for business to function," he declared. "We're going to do it right here in the U.S."
Dick Yuengling welcomed Trump, thanking him for taking the time to visit the brewery.
"Our guys are behind your father," Yuengling said. "We need him in there."
Yuengling, 73, turned his family's struggling brewery into a $550 million enterprise with breweries in Pottsville, East Norwegian Township and Tampa, Florida.
In 1985, when he bought the business from his father, Richard Yuengling Sr., its single brewery produced 137,000 barrels per year, according to Forbes magazine.
Family-owned Yuengling, one of the country's five largest beer companies, now makes 2.8 million barrels annually.
Yuengling, who gave up a college education to work in the brewery, ranks 361st on Forbes' Top 400 billionaires in 2016. The magazine reports his net worth as $1.88 billion.
