Florida Sen. Marco Rubio got booed off a stage in Orlando on Sunday, by a crowd that was overwhelmingly Latino.

Poor little Marco.

When I saw the early vote totals among hispanics in FL, I thought some of it might be for Rubio. I guess not.

Being boo'd off stage might give poor little marco an anxiety attack. Someone give that man a drink of water!

It's true Rubio is going to do badly with Cubans in South FL because a handful of people at a Puerto Rican street fair booed him. Incisive political #analysis.

well I do continually use the term hispanic incorrectly.

If he wasn't such a mealy-mouthed little shit, he would be running away with this. I mean, the dem nominee is pretty bad and the national party hasn't put much into the campaign. He should be running away with it and yet he's not. Why isn't he? Because he's a gutless flipflopping head case who was willing to sell out his own people just so he could be president, that's why.

How's he doing among voters with an actual conscience? I'm guessing pretty poor.

The vast majority of what you just wrote analyzing the race is horrendously incorrect, but this is why god invented baseball message boards.

I'm going to stand by the "mealy-mouthed little shit" and "gutless flipflopping head case" parts. Also, the "moral compass of a weathervane" part of the next post is also spot on.

I hear tell Dems have shut off the money tap for Murphy. maybe they found out he's worse than pretty bad

That may be. But Obama did go after Rubio a day or two ago, pointing out what Rubio said of Trump. From what I read of Murphy though, dems may be better off without him. Plus, Rubio may change all his positions to dem positions if he thinks it will help his political future. He has the moral compass of a weathervane.

Think that was mostly just Barry having some fun.

So the brother of Hillary's campaign manager -- not Hillary, not her campaign manager, but her campaign manager's brother -- having a good relationship with Saudi Arabia is a bad thing. But Trump -- himself -- thinks it would be nice to have a good relationship with Putin who, among other things, sells weapons to Assad and bombs Syrians, cut off the gas supply to the Ukraine and Europe, made a special law to get rid of NGOS, jailed and assassinated opponents, journalists and activists, banned gay couples from adopting Russian children, annexed Crimea and stations troops in the Ukraine, spends $50B on the Sochi Olympics -- up to $30B of which was attributable to corruption and has outlawed gay "propaganda."

Probably. Obama does seem to be enjoying himself. Nice approval rating and he gets to campaign for senate and house hopefuls, unlike 2014 when nobody wanted him around.

I don't think much of the Podesta Group and view it as the wing of the Clinton camp that I dislike the most. I hope that since Podesta is her campaign manager and not part of the transition team that we can staff the administration with as few people attached to it as possible.

Grouping it with the Democratic party seems specious, though, considering who it has advised and who it consists of, however. It's part of the 'dc consesnus' I'm not a fan of.

The Donald is going scorched earth, he's stopping big money joint fundraising with the RNC.

Hillary is also doing her last fundraiser today. Don't really see any meat in the article to back up the reaction currently occurring on my Twitter feed.

Good to know. Thanks. I guess he's done so many absurd things that I just assumed this was another.

Many people on my Twitter feed who either know better or should know better are also acting like this is a big deal, so maybe it is. I dunno. Seems like the actual text of the article is benign, and if Hillary is doing the same, not sure why there's a big fuss.

The Post reporter saying Hillary's Victory arm has a bunch more events, I guess just not with her? Not exactly a ton of Republicans have been raising money for Trump, so maybe this is important. Though the GOP money is mostly just going into the NRSC/NRCC/Koch/etc. outlets which gets at the same downballot help in the end.

I think it's a pretty great ad. I'd like to see more ads (and more politicians) like this. Of course, I'd probably enjoy talking with Gerrald, which is sort of not the point of the ad, but it's positive and humorous, and gets at the heart of what really matters in local politics, which is solving problems rather than ideology.

TV, you talked at length where I just blurted out praise, but this is it exactly. It's heartwarming, it makes the point (humorously and self-deprecatingly) that he is knowledgeable, and a problem solver. And it is very memorable.

A+++++++

I too thought this was good
