Like millions of others, she believed that President Obama was a Muslim. And like so many she had gotten to know online through social media, she also believed that he was likely gay, that Michelle Obama could be a man, and that the Obama children were possibly kidnapped from a family now searching for them.

seems more like an indicator. A reminder of the need. and for many, "nearly a billion" of anything is a super indicator.

I mean, Ryan, McConnell, and other 'responsible' Rs are now almost literally waiting for drumpf to kill someone in front of an audience before they publicly disavow the guy. And they don't have much choice; their party's 'system' put them in this predicament.

So appearently Rudy Giuliani said something so appalling at a meeting of the Commercial Financing Association, which had invited him to give a keynote address on the idea of leadership and which I am sure is a bastion of left-wing quasi-socialist economic thought, had to issue a public apology for having invited him to speak to their group, and another group (the International Council of Shopping Centers) has canceled his scheduled appearance.

Apparently he don't like Mexicans.

At CFA’s 40 Under 40 Awards last Thursday night, keynote speaker Rudolph Giuliani veered sharply off course from the leadership message he agreed to deliver and presented unscripted personal opinions which were independent of CFA’s political position or core values,” Bob Trojan, the group’s CEO, wrote in an email sent to attendees and forwarded to the Observer. “While we, the event organizers, made every attempt to direct Mr. Giuliani’s remarks ahead of time to focus on leadership, for which he is renowned and has authored a book, there is always the possibility of such a surprise at a live event.”

yeah, i'm guessing she hasn't had the easiest life. it's just a shame that she's the perfect example of a person that the left wants to help and she's been completely warped by these whack jobs.

the Dems do suck at talking to these people, but the question is, how do you talk to these people? the GOP has successfully talked to these people and now they're the insane person, conspiracy theory party. how do you gently have a conversation with millions of people who are suffering, who are in pain, who do deserve better opportunities, but are not operating in reality?

While sympathetic, what she'll never admit is that by living off disability for so many years she's among the "takers" that the party she votes for vilifies so much. I have an uncle who's no different--is completely dependent on government and yet goes on and on about people looking for handouts.

And, there's no doubt that for 50 years, the Democrats have not tried to talk to these people, and I suspect organized labor hasn't done much for them either.

Loved the constant mention of the pillow over the head of her husbands head as he slept.

I agree that she's exactly the person the left is trying to help and the right is destroying with the destruction of social programs. The whole voting against your self interests thing.

No amount of Republican rhetoric is going to bring back coal mining jobs, either

The Republican in the PA16 race endorsed Trump at yesterday's Manheim rally.

As a result, I donated to his opponent Christina Hartman.

Well duh. However I do think it's important to note that little of trump's rhetoric is aimed at demonizing people who use government programs in general. There have been no calls for reforming Medicare or ssi. That's one reason why i think Johnson is the real conservative in this race. I do think it's important that rhetoric aside a Trump presidency would of course be a toral disaster for these people.

Racosts on twitter are now using the words 'skypes' 'yelps' etc as way to get around being reported or blocked or muted when referring to any minority.

I saw that a few days ago. I think there's a few people that do it, but the story is more liberal the sky is falling stuff. I did a bunch of searches and not a lot came up outside of people whining about it.
