it's alright. I'm not seeing the perfection in your perfect.

Perfect would be him bursting into white-hot flames in close proximity to his idiot sons, and the brietbart guy, and Conway, and Hugh Hewitt, and Omarosa, and Boris Shitstain or whateverthehell that other toady's name is

Go over your vision of perfection one more time. we'll be the judge of that
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Not only will he say it's legal, but he'll turn it into a triumph, pointing out how he recovered from such a terrible time for him and the economy generally. The tax laws are very favorable to real estate developers and he'll say: "What was I supposed to do? Be a chump and not take all the deductions to which I was entitled?"

Nobody likes the IRS and trying to indict someone for deducting the losses he was entitled to take seems like pretty weak tea to me.

He can say lots of things, but his unfav rating is near 60%, his unqualified number is similar, he's mortal. The idea that Trump can just spin shit into gold is not reflected by any polling. Time and again - Curiel, Orlando, Khan, shitty debate/Machado - when he's gone off the rails, he's taken a nose dive in the polls. This cuts at multiple strengths, sets up for terrific paid media, and is sure to have him acting erratically because it gets under his skin.

Your racist uncle who has a MAGA hat isn't gonna be swayed by the NYT reporting on Trump's taxes. But your apolitical next door neighbor in Bucks County who was undecided might be.

Tyson is a fairly introspective and self-critical dude and he's maintained his innocence. if I had to bet I'd say he's innocent but I'll never know.

I think you should walk this post back and start your logic from the start. he lost a billion in a year and then never paid taxes again.

his only angle is if he didn't do that and releases his taxes and they look super good.

Initial reax from top Ds tonight: this isn't the end of Trump, but the story plays into all the Clinton camp's negative narratives on him...

Think this is exactly correct

Trump said Clinton wasn't loyal to her husband during the Manheim rally...also accused her of being literally crazy.

Just a normal campaign.

If the media goes with this stuff half as much as they did with Clinton's stuff, Trump is done.

Seems like Trump only gets affected by this stuff if it becomes the talking point for the week. And then it only seems to last for that period.

This isn't really true though. He does the quick nose dive in the polls after dragging out a negative story thing - Curiel, Khan, shitty debate/Machado - and then it takes him 6 weeks of behaving somewhat normally to get back to where he was before he acted like an idiot. He doesn't have 6 weeks, and odds are slim he's going to act normally as the oppo dumps become more frequent and more personal.

Quite a read. I think this is someone who would normally vote gop anyway, but Trump is the perfect candidate for her. She is part of the Republican base
