trump, in the name of transparency, released another health summary letter from that kooky doctor. and yet, hillary is the one who is still hiding in the shadows.

drumpf on his health: "when I'm with Tom Brady - a fantastic athlete by the way - I feel as young as him. It's crazy."

Remember, he said it

That's what makes Hillary's unforced errors so damn frustrating.

well there are fewer. i think it was silver who expressed this view on twitter this week--

clinton has blemishes and problems. there are a handful so they are easier to discuss at length. trump has dozens of problems a week. none are discussed with any sort of depth. the most recent one covers up the one from the day before.

The ever remarkable thing to me is that there is fucking video of these events. Trump and his surrogate's claims can be so easily proven false. The issue is that nearly nobody in the chicken shit media is willing to do it. I feel like the first hour of the first debate should just be spent refuting BOTH candidates' bullshit and then each candidate a chance to apologize for constantly lying and then allow them to lie about never doing it again.

Eh, they do when it's easy and there's no other story. There are multiple major outlets in my news feed (NPR, WaPo, NYT) that immediately called him out for that one.

The problem is that most of the time the media is too distracted by a shinier, easier story that draws more viewers.

Oh I know and there's been a ton of people saying that for basically all of 2016. It's not a groundbreaking observation.

I think the bigger issue there is that, because we've always know Trump to be a businessman and a showman rather than a politician, people have low expectations for him. It's basically like when your 5 year old is on their first soccer team. If he/she even kicks the ball, you clap. But if Abby Wambach doesn't score a goal, you moan with frustration. Guess which one is Trump in that scenario?

The whole argument about truth misses the point. Most voters don't want the truth.

Finally, some honesty out of a Trump:

When asked why his father has not released his tax returns as presidential candidates have traditionally done, Trump Jr. said, “Because he's got a 12,000-page tax return that would create … financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from (his father's) main message.”

he doesn't want people to know.

also:
Trump Jr.'s father has not had a great track record in telling the truth on the campaign trail, according to the Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-check website PolitiFact. The website has investigated about 250 claims Trump and Clinton each made. The website found that his claims, 70 percent of the time, were found to be at least mostly false or worse, while hers were false or mostly false 28 percent of the time.

“I would argue that PolitiFact is a very liberal organization,” Trump Jr. said.

BTW, there were reports this morning that Trump really wants to nominate Peter Thiel to SCOTUS if he wins.

The sad fact about this campaign is that no one could summarily dismiss this ridiculous rumor.

Among the many grotesque things about this ridiculous boob's "campaign" is he that believes - to the extent he's capable of believing anything - the idiotic shit emitting from his clownface.

The cynics applauding his nonsense at the Economic Club of NY - who KNOW he is, at best, merely delusional; they KNOW he is a stupid and yet potentially dangerous clod - all deserve to endure the most insidious forms of gastrointestinal cancers.
