there was a part in the forum where a question was asked. he said something somewhat brief and then ended with, "well make america great again. thats my slogan. that is what i am running on. make america great again." it was one of those moments that it was so clear he had no idea what he was talking about so he pivoted awkwardly to just repeating his dumb campaign slogan. there need to be 7 or 8 of those moments in the the debate.

He called Russia our "number one geopolitical foe." I still don't think he was right about that, at least not until he was (rightly) mocked for that extreme statement and walked it back in later debates/statements.
So yeah, he was right after he walked it back. For making the brilliant assessment that Russia opposes us in the UN and elsewhere.
Of course they're our number one geopolitical foe. They've demonstrated this repeatedly with forays into sovereign nations whom we're allied with (was Georgia, now Ukraine), messing with things in the Middle East, acting as a standing veto for some of the worst elements in the world on the Security Council, and now they're even attempting to directly interfere with our own internal elections.

@JohnJHarwood forget Yellen/Fed: Trump on @CNBC says Obama is keeping interest rates down, leaving it to "the new guy" in WH to raise them next January

Yeah they're more conservative leading up to them due to the uncertainty of the rather large decision in November. It makes sense.MoBettle wrote:There been studies that have shown that the fed is more conservative in its policy around presidential election time. So did NBCUniversal, which donated $500,000 in 2012. Its gift more than covered the “personal” donations that Trump offered at dramatic moments on “The Celebrity Apprentice” — then paid for out of the Trump Foundation.

i'm about as 'super passionate' abut this as i am about the other two or so posts i made on it. i'm noting the issue. if the NE changes coverage or gets shut down because of a flurry of lawsuits designed to shut them down, i'd be annoyed with that to. as it is, i don't read the NE. perhaps you can enlighten us.

they're both shit gossip rags that violate people's privacy and the court systems are fortunately designed to compensate people for that.

kinda hilarious that 4 years ago Romney was so anti-Russia it was over the top and now the next nominee is the opposite because he misunderstood what Putin said about him.
Oh, and Clinton is -86 and Obama -74 for Republicans. Trump is -75 for Democrats.
