This isn't isolated. They intially basically praised Trump's pivot after the Mexico trip without mentioning the awful speech he gave in Arizona...and then they corrected it without so much as an editor's note.

I have a secret plan for reducing the budget deficit without raising taxes. I'd tell it to you, but I don't want anyone to know it and stop it from happening.
