Dan Sullivan is a US Senator from Alaska. Another Dan Sullivan is primarying Lisa Murkowski. If he wins, Alaska will send two senators to DC named Dan Sullivan.

He dropped out of the race a couple of weeks ago, but it would have been interesting to hear how the clerk calling the roll handled that in the Senate.

One of my weekly trivia compatriots is a consultant for Murkowski and he was annoyed the day Sullivan filed and very happy the day he dropped out. Ex-Anchorage mayor, which is like 40% of the state. Would have been a tough primary for her.

<edit> Looks like the bombing was outside the airport, so nevermind.

Maddow reported tonight that one of the bombers jumped through the hole created by another's detonation, and that's how one of the explosions occurred inside.

FFS!!

wow, that's crazy, but smart.

Seems about right. Has some uncertainty baked in based on the election being 4+ months away. Their 'now-cast' (if the election was held today) has it at 87%.
