You couldn't fucking write it better than that. We're quite possibly going to nominate a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic blowhard with zero fidelity to smaller government goals or the constitution or things we said we cared about who is going to harm the party at least in the short term, and if god forbid he somehow got elected cause serious harm to the country. And while we nominate him his fraudulent company is going to be in a trial because he's a gross, fake loser.
Any moment now I'm going to wake up and this will have been a bad dream.
This is the end of the path that the R's started down when they embraced Tea Party racists. I honestly think Trump winning the nomination and being rejected by most of the faces of the party may be better long term than parading Cruz around as a legitimate candidate.
The road started way before the Tea Partiers. It took at least a generation for these chickens to come home to roost.
