In pretty strong agreement with this

I'm not as sure. The key is stopping Trump. If Kasich quits, SOME of his votes go to Der Fuhrious. But then, he could hurt in the winner-take-all states.

Kasich is the only adult CAPABLE of being president. He can hardly claim it at a contested convention if he quits now.

Thank you for saying that, Pac. As bad as Trump has been, conservatives have been just as vicious with Obama for 7 years. Regardless of what one thinks of his policies, he's a patriotic American, a good and decent man and a loving father and husband. Plus he would never put his dog on top of his car!

To get the nomination, Kasich needs to get 106% of the remaining delegates. I imagine that's kinda hard to do.

Funny, just happened to stumble across this and came back here to this bit of conversation.

Is Barack Obama a nice person when there isn't a camera around?

OR get it at a brokered convention.

Cruz's interest in a 2-person contest is selfish delusion. He knows he's as toasted as drumpf at an open convention. Kasich has to keep showing up and keep speaking plainly - and as sanely as he knows how - right through the last primary, and right on into the convention hall in Cleveland for what may be the last genuine Republican party convention in history.

Rs will have to actually make and communicate hard decisions about their organization's role in selecting a candidate for the nation's highest office, led by a guy whose chief talent is collecting checks.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Good to see him taking a stand by voting for the slightly less gross douchebag. He's an American hero.

A former Ron Paul campaign advisor was on Rachel Maddow's talking about Romney stealing some of this year's delegates. Huh?

Going to need more context but the easy answer there is 'former Ron Paul campaign advisor'

For real, people can complain about his politics, but I can't see how anyone complains about Obama the person.

I think he's a bit of a narcissist who occasionally thinks himself too pure when he's not at all, but he seems like a far better human being than any of the three people who appear like they have a realistic chance to be our next president.

I think the expression you're searching for DiM is: "Why, that's mighty white of you."
