Well Doc, you've done a better job here defending Sanders than the fanboys - but your best has been (paraphrasing here) "Well sure his plan is not plausible but it needs to be fleshed out."

It's easy to love what he's proposing - but he's suggesting alchemy.

I get it - Sanders is admirable, Drumpf is despicable. Agreed. I'd vote Sanders over Mein Drumpf. None of that gives any gravitas to his hare-brained schemes. It's not Econ 101 - it's first grade math that disproves his approach. And we don't even need to explore his 30 years in office with no accomplishments and no allies.

The reason none of the "fanboys" have defended him against your attacks is because they're hair-brained at not even worth discussing with someone who consistently posts shit from CATO and other Republican think tanks trying to cling to the thoroughly disproved notion that trickle down economics work and that socialism doesn't.

Your attack on Bernie in just that post is so ridiculous, not that I blame you particularly on this one because it's been one repeated by HRC supporters. This whole "he won't get anything done because Congress won't let it" is the stupidest negative narrative against Bernie. It's an indictment on Bernie because Congress won't implement his ideas which are probably good? Lots of mental gymnastics to get to that narrative, imo.

You saying that his policies won't work because the math doesn't add up without posting anything substantial to back up that claim is par for the course for you, but ridiculous nonetheless. I mean, how the fuck am I supposed to argue that, TP? You can't argue with someone who states things as facts without providing any basis behind those facts. It'd be like trying to argue with someone who insists the sky is green.

a real quote from former Presidental candidate and political grifter Ben Carson wrote: “If the protesters continue with their (Saul) Alinsky-like tactics, there is a real possibility of escalation,” the famously soft-spoken Carson warned.

“Because those who are the victims have two choices: They can submit to them meekly, just do whatever those protesters want them to do, or they can fight back. If they decide to fight back, there could be an escalation.”

Carson also criticized anti-Trump protesters for infringing on his supporters’ First Amendment rights.

“The problem is that there are those who are being taught that if somebody disagrees with you, you have the right to interfere with their First Amendment rights, their ability to express themselves, their freedom of speech. That’s where the emphasis needs to be.”

I'm really starting to come around on the conspiracy theory that Trump wanted this to happen. He really did up his rhetoric about being violent with protesters in events leading up to rallies in 3 extremely diverse and poor cities in Chicago, Kansas City, and Cleveland. At first I thought this was your typical left wing conspiracy theory born out of joke comments at the likes of Gawker and Wonkette, but it really does make sense. Also, I wouldn't put it past Trump to pull this kind of shitbag tactic to rile up his band of idiots who are angry at the poors and the non-white.
