But seriously... I just got out of the hospital on Monday, my 3rd hospital stay since Xmas. Diagnosis: portal vein thrombosis.

I'm now on an anticoagulant regimen with the hope it will resolve the blood clot.


Portal vein thrombosis : blockage or narrowing of the portal vein (the main vessel in the portal venous system that drains blood from the gastrointestinal tract and spleen to the liver) by a blood clot. Fluid accumulates in the abdomen, the spleen enlarges, and/or severe bleeding occurs in the esophagus.

I just read that AZ does not use DST. Can Piece confirm?

DST sucks. And starting it a week or two early (and ending it a week or two later) sucks especially hard. Easily the worst legacy of the Bush Presidency. Obama should fix it.
