Travelocity has a commercial where the basic point is that someone has always wanted to go to Athens Greece but ends up mistakenly booking a trip to Athens GA. Travelocity saves the day by having a 24 hours cancellation window. My initial reaction was how stupid does Travelocity think their customers are? Like how the fuck could you mix up that booking? Then my second thought was this probably happens all the time and this is their response. That makes me sad for humans.

Was about 15 hrs. Idk why but we flew north over Scandinavia and then Iceland crossing the atlantic into nova Scotia and then south toward orlando. Same thing on the trip there. Why not just fly across africa? I probably sound like an idiot

i was always under the impression the plane stayed stationary in the air while the earth moved beneath it.

My brother, who lives with me, is going to the UK for work from Saturday until next Sunday. Instead of driving there and parking like a normal considerate person, which his company obviously pays for, he wants me to drive him to the airport (70-80 minutes round trip) and my father to pick him up (90 minutes in the car, likely). All because he doesn't want to 'deal with' driving and parking in addition to going international. Almost 3 hours of inconvenience for us to save him possibly an hour.

This kind of selfishness is a near murderable offense, in my opinion.
