Felt like a goddamned criminal at Toys r Us yesterday. Tried to return a $7 Lego set w/o a receipt, and it was denied because I also made a $7 return LAST JULY. It's not my fault that my FiL doesn't know how to use my kid's wishlist.

Looks like they're going to call a ski day tomorrow, thus answering my prayers. Monday is my only busy day in terms of classes during the winter term, so it will wipe out 40% of my classes for the week. And then I get the added benefit of being able to polish something I'm sending out tomorrow.

On the other hand, the ski day won't be called until 8:45, which happens to be right in the middle of a double period. I have a lab planned, but don't want to have to stop the lab halfway through when/if they call the ski day. But if I don't start the lab and then it's not called, I will have lost the long period for nothing. So do I do the lab or not? Looking at the weather, they have to call the ski day if we're going to have one this year. The snow is melting fast and the next few weeks look too warm for a fresh snowfall. It's now or never.

I think I'm going to risk it and not do the lab.
