That's pretty scary. Hoping for the "nothing" but actually not exactly nothing--hoping they figure out what it is, and it turns out to be a little thing. (Because "nothing" might mean it's something they just can't figure out, and that would kind of suck.)

I also hope the treatment involves frequent massages that are covered by your insurance. And that the masseuse is appealing.

Feel better...could be something as simple as a lack of food in your system and you stood up and it washed over you

After a billion tests, it looks like I simply had my first migraine, where I had a visual aura which is what was messing up my vision. So that's better than a TIA or mini stroke which was the other possibility, which was a big concern because of my dad's history, who had a massive stroke in his early 60s. Seems like all the stress of the last few months and/or years caught up to me--life has been insane recently. Should be leaving the hospital today, which is good because I hate hospitals. Thanks for the thoughts, folks.

So yesterday I saw the biggest meteor of my life. It was during the daylight and happened out over the valley, though it may have been as far away as the Matterhorn as it was hard to judge distance. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and looked to see it split into two and spark into dust. It left a trail of white smoke across the sky. Super cool.
