That is a good question, actually. I don't know.

Curious about Huckabee too.

It won't move the needle but all of these people dropping will start to add up.

I'm wondering where Trump's people end up. I think that will decide it. I would have thought Cruz, but maybe they just don't vote or go 3rd party (if there's a candidate)

Mike Huckabee has decided to end his presidential campaign but I think he should be forced to carry it to full term.

I think she's in too important a position to waste her in the VP role.

It's a shame she's not running.

The POTUS choices are so bad, it's more fun to speculate on the under card

Speak for yourself. I will gladly vote for either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. Both would be great presidents.

I understand the appeal of Bernie: Free Everything. But once you think about it for more than 2 minutes, you realize nothing is free. All goods and services must be paid for. And that's when Bernie's plan falls apart. The whole Robin Hood thing is kinda groovy, but there are not enough fat cats to bankrupt in order to pay for all the freebies Bernie wants to give you.

I think he's sincere and probably the most genuine person in the race. But his policies are delusional.

There is nothing great about Hillary, but she's a savvy old bird who knows the ins and outs of both domestic and international politics. She'd be OK.

I don't know, I'm kind of tired of my tax dollars paying to supplement Walmart employees' income so they can live while the Walton family makes a disgusting amount of money.

Just did a words search & "Kasich" returns 118 forum entries. Carly & Gilmore show up less frequently. Everyone else in the nomination hunt (that I checked) is referenced twice, three times, more times more often.

Yet he's on the R ticket among a wide variety of the observers/barflies around here.

Kasich/Rubio can probably win, Department of Judeo-Christian Values, Lehman Brothers resume line, muddled-to-nutty foreign policy, Syrian refugees can fuck off, harsh abortion positions, constitutional balanced budget amendment would be great!, we should be cutting Social Security benefits, and unthinkable SC nominees notwithstanding.

Rubio/Kasich can't win, though the fly boots are fly.

Are enough Rs who matter pragmatically imaginative enough to grasp this?

Election 2016 boils down to this. I know because I had a dream about it (yeah, yeah, save the wisecracks).

gas bills in LA have increased since the Socal gas leak in Porter Ranch
Socal says no they havent!

who to believe?!

don't worry, they're gonna get hte book thrown at them:
Hours earlier, Attorney General Kamala Harris announced a civil lawsuit, alleging SoCal Gas violated safety laws and failed to report the massive methane leak that continues to relocate thousands of people in the suburb of Porter Ranch.
Harris is seeking an injunction, civil penalties and restitution in her office's lawsuit against the utility and the state Air Resources Board.

If convicted in the criminal case, SoCal Gas could be fined up to $25,000 a day for each day it failed to notify state authorities about the leak. An arraignment is scheduled for February 17, Lacey's office said.

SoCalGas, a regulated subsidiary of Sempra Energy, is "the nation's largest natural gas distribution utility," providing service to 21.4 million consumers in more than 500 communities," its website says.

In January, Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency over the colossal leak near the Los Angeles suburb of Porter Ranch.

SoCalGas is trying to plug the deep pipe that sprang the leak in the Aliso Canyon Natural Gas Storage Facility, but those efforts may not see success until late February or March, the governor's office has said. The utility has to drill down 8,500 feet to plug its source with concrete, and the drilling must proceed slowly, in part so it doesn't puncture adjacent pipes and spring new leaks.

that's $75k. Now we're gettin' em! If only we loosened regulations to ensure Socal could properly deal with this situation they might've had it wrapped up months ago. Instead, the onerous government has forced the leak to continue well into March. Shame, regulations, shame. I blame the EPA. I blame Sanders. I blame OBAMA.

Rubio/Kasich is the ticket I prefer. Can you explain why you think it only has a chance with Kasich as POTUS?
