while i am not really a fan of british actors or comedians... i've always loved simon pegg. he's been one of my favorite actors for around ten years now. once phillip seymour hoffman decided to exit the stage, i have yet to name a new favorite actor. today it is officially simon pegg. sam elliot is and will always be number two, luv that dude.

couldn't really seem to pique (?) his interest much. He still may get something for christmas, though. So confusing

it's sort of weird how unfair it is to taxi drivers that uber really has no rules to follow and so many people are just like 'lol, stinky dumb taxis!'

taxi's would be better if they all didn't drive like maniacs. when i get a maniac Uber driver i just report them. a few 1 star reports and they'll be 'fired.' not sure what the accountability is for taxi drivers.

found this, obviously the PPA is great to deal with :dh: , but here's a phone number:

To file a complaint regarding taxi or limousine service in Philadelphia, contact the Philadelphia Parking Authority at 1-888-591-3636

no doubt; it's a shitty system

uber likely is a better option for many but i just dont think it's fair they don't have to be on the same playing field, though

Uber is the best thing that's ever happened to my alcohol intake. Before I would go out and only drink like two drinks over the course of three hours and nothing the last before driving and then taking side streets. Now I can get fucked up and it's half the price of a cab and that is with leaving a three to five dollar tip for the uber drivers. I don't know how the uber guys get paid, but I can't see them making all that much unless everyone hooks them up with at least 2-3 bucks a tip for a ride.

it's gonna crumble somewhat when auto insurer's adjust their terms properly. If people know they won't be covered if their uber driver crashes they'll be forced to comply or lose business.

Damn... I don't do Facebook and I know if I lose touch with a few friends, your very same story may play out here with me. Still love and care for the girl too. I saw her a couple of months ago and said she was clean, but damn once we split she got into some heavy shit and would up looking like it. I pray everyday there is a happy ending to her story.

If I'm not mistaken... The occupants and the uber driver are covered by uber when the occupant is in the car. However, the driver is not covered by uber when he or she is not even though they may be on the way to pick up a passenger.

I don't really know any of this girl's friends so no way of knowing what happened. Obits dont really give details.
