Brian Williams just made up the word "corolarilized" and used in in his coverage of the LA-NYC school closing/not closing

He & Pete Williams (not bros or cousins as far as we know) are imagining that the german email that presumably ignited the decisions in LA & NYC was subject solely to human interpretation for making the decision

It think mostly because they're old guys who don't get this intertubes

Sigh..I went to get CFA for lunch, got a sandwich, fries and a frosted lemonade. Put the drink in the bag on top of the sandwich box and put it in the front seat. Was making a left turn and saw the light go yellow, so sped up a little. Guy in front of me made a U-Turn, so I had to brake pretty hard. Bag flipped over into my passenger seatwell, frosted lemonade everywhere. So not only is my car a mess, I didn't get to drink the lemonade and my fries and sandwich are covered in lemonade too.

Guess that's a sign that I should stop supporting the homophobes (hell no, I'm going to keep eating there. Hater chicken is just so delicious).

Seems like you needlessly put yourself in a precarious situation by not using your vehicle equipped cup holder.

I know. Wasn't thinking. I was more concerned about putting all the food in one bag so I could carry it in one hand and badge into my office with the other. I should have put it all in the bag after I parked. Not the smartest thing I've done this year.

Did weed make you unmotivated to pursue the things you wanted in life?

I’ve been meditating every night for a while now, focusing my intent on having vivid dreams that I can remember well, and it actually works. I can remember in great detail most of my dreams now, whereas before they’d be just be vague images and then gone within a couple minutes of waking up. Pretty wild stuff. A lot of recurring type stuff with similar settings, etc, which is really interesting to me and a bit of mystery as to why I’ve been having them. I’ve had a lot of dreams involving my grandpa and aunt, both dead. I wasn’t particularly close with either one of them and don’t really think about them much when I’m awake. Weird stuff, man!

If you're interested in dreams, Steven Kampann teaches and lectures on this stuff. Actor (Newhart), screenwriter (back to school, analyze that, stealing home), phillies fan, my fb friend (i think i confuse him because he thinks he should know me from somewhere :) ).

Look up his writings- he encourages you to keep a notepad and pen next to your bed and write down your recollections as soon as you wake up, be it in the morning or in the middle of the night. he says a lot of his writing comes from his dreams. I've been too chicken to try it myself yet though.

good stuff slowhand. i try to meditate just about every day, so i am curious to see how much further that will continue to affect my REM sleep. Are you lucid, or just vivid? So far they feel like more fantastical lsd trips, which makes sense since we're essentially DMT tripping. All of them to this point have prominently involved the third eye, which makes sense since I've taken the path of deepening my spiritual practice, particularly these past 4 months. I remember tweets Floppy used to make about how he would dream of random people 20 years from his past that he never thought of in a waking state. But then that opens up discussion for which realities are waking and dream states. Weird stuff indeed. I hope you've seen Waking Life! Been about 10 years for me so i think i'm due for a re-watch.

Bucky, i used to keep a dream journal in late teens/early 20's, doing what you said, jotting down thoughts upon waking before they faded. Had a hell of a time with interpretations though, but I knew much less at the time than i do now. Perhaps I'll try again.
