Pro tip: gov'ts have always been in debt. It's a bill we owe ourselves, and won't ever actually pay off. Sure, govt's have gotten into trouble by swinging from the chandeliers. Amazingly enough we are not really doing that right now.
But as a day-trading financier type, you understand the distinctions between the debts of nation-states and the debts of joe blow on the street, and are just posting this out of some reflex.
