Paris attacks

Paris attacks

Shouldn't matter that I really love Paris, but it does.

Washington Post

series of apparent terrorist attacks rocked Paris on Friday night, leaving at least 35 people dead at separate locations amid a continuing gun battle and possible hostage situation at a downtown concert hall, authorities and news media said.

The BFMTV television network later reported that at least 60 people were dead in the carnage.

Explosions near a soccer stadium forced authorities to evacuate President Francois Hollande, who was among thousands watching a friendly match between France and Germany.

Hollande later went on national television to announce a state of emergency, including travel restrictions and the closing of French borders. He said security forces were continuing to battle terrorists in at least one location.

I couldn't imagine being at a sporting event and hearing an explosion outside. God bless these poor people

Gunmen are dead, suppose we'll get a more accurate count soon, but this seems slightly reliable.

Band escaped, FWIW.

yikes

this after a large attack in Lebanon where two bombs went off. Didn't get as much coverage for whatever reason, but 44 died in those.

They threw grenades at the hostages faces. The people that can walk onto that scene and help in any way are incredible.

Sources are saying the explosions at the soccer stadium were from suicide bombers.

Additionally, a source says the terrorists in the music venue detonated themselves.

Praying for the people in Paris.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?
