a common theme in all of this kinda of stuff and our more trivial controversies at home is having an unmoving ideology, being an ideologue, and intolerance for other perspectives. I say that because I understand that that type of mindset is fraught with flaws and stupidity and weakness, but also because I acknowledge it's my gut reaction to a situation like this. Specifically in how I'd like to see it investigated and responded to.

This is all going to get worse before it gets better. We're really getting close to a serious flash point here. Nationalism on the continent has already been way up.

Hungary will use this as cover to further their inhumane treatment of people fleeing a terrible situation.

how people can see this and then say they don't like refugees trying to FLEE THIS massacre that happens on a DAILY basis in their countries is beyond me.
