That's from the incident of two weeks ago right? Russia just finally admitted what everyone expected - it was ISIS.

So they cancelled a match where the Chancellor was to show that they had no fear.

There was apparently a plausible threat. You think they should have gone ahead and played?

I think it's kinda funny/sad that they wanted to show they had no fear and then they cancelled the match.

Not sure I'm buying the whole "ISIS wants you to hate refugees" thing. Tweets like "If you were on a suicide mission, the very last thing you would bring along is your real passport." aren't exactly convincing. I read the WAPO article about it and it still seems like a tenuous attempt to connect the two.

ISIS thinks the refugees are scum. They want to kill them.

There aren't many people they don't want to kill. I don't think wanting the world to hate them is part of any plan, though.

I don't really care if it's a plan to make refugees look bad. I dont think it is, i think people are trying to Connect The Dots on that one.

They tried to get into Syria and were denied via Turkey, thrn obviously went back. The reason they could go back easier than Syrians? They had European passports, something Syrian refugees don't have. I'd be far more concerned in the US about homegrown terrorism than I would be foreign at this point. But I'm far more concerned about guns.

I'm just addressing this issue they're trying to tie them together. I am all about welcoming the refugees in to the US. I just think tying the two together is a lazy effort to make anti-refugee supporters feel guilty.

If there were calls to get them to cancel because the last match had some suicide bombers at it, and they went ahead with it saying you can't give in or else they win or whatever, good for them. Then there were specific threats they deemed credible (and may have been stopped due to the cancelling), so they cancelled. It's sad, but it's reality. I dunno that it's dick measuring.

I edited my post to make clear I don't think that.

ok? i'm talking about the message out there that this is a thing ISIS is all about. I don't think Bobby ISIS is saying "I want those cocksuckers to hate those refugee cocksuckers"

Yeah really.

We will show those terrorists and send people to the slaughter! Our dick is indeed large!
