the guy goes "I'm Fred Goldman. OJ Simpson murdered my son"

WheelsFellOff wrote:I recently had a new PC built and it arrived before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately after unpacking and setting it up it appeared the graphics card got damaged during shipping so I had to send it back in to get it swapped out (because it was fresh out of the box and wouldn't boot to Windows they wanted to put it through QC again to make sure nothing else was wrong). I got an email last Friday saying it was received and the repairs done and sent out the same day and it was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. The box was sitting outside my door (rear of building, 2nd floor entrance) when I got home from work yesterday. Was a happy surprise, but I'm curious how UPS's estimate could be off by that much. Either way, I have a good UPS guy to lug it up the back stairs and not leave it on the porch out by the street.

It gets what I want done (plays Blizzard games a lot better than my mid-2000s computer), has an i5, and I can always upgrade the video card later (it has a shitty Nvidia in it, a GeForce 730).

We are raising our kids today to be a bunch of pussies playing bocce ball. Back in the day if you didn't get some sort of road rash or head wound, you weren't playing.
