Lol, no when I came out they had covered the disaster with gauze pads, like 1000 gauze pads. It was so bad, they are just shutting down for the rest of the day. The nurse said to me "the worst part about this is, we just got the carpets shampooed on Monday"

Almost decided to comment on one of those "7 reasons why reverse racism doesn't exist" articles since point #1 was based on an incorrect definition of what racism is.

I agree. People are operating on definitions in dictionaries I don't have access to.

I agreed with points 2-7. It felt petty which is basically why I just skipped over it.

its a weird argument to me. if you just add the adjective systemic before racism I'd likely agree but it seems like a weird attempt to absolve people from having accountability for hate in their hearts.

I've been getting the urge to get another bike. Due to the portability and the fact that I could put it in a trunk and closet, I'm considering a folding bike. Does anyone have any experience with these bikes?

I was looking at the Miami or if it's worth the extra hundred for the alloy framed Seoul.

I'm skeptical. They're very light on actual specs on that site, and $300 for a folding bike seems really low. The mechanicals on a nice road bike could easily cost that much. If you don't expect to ride it much, I imagine it would be OK. Reviews indicate the gearing is on the low side so you're not going to be going fast on it.

i researched folding bikes some time back. I'm sure the landscape on that market has changed but dahon jack seemed to be a pretty good choice.

Thanks for the input. I didn't see much of any "independent reviews" myself. It's not going to be daily rider or anything. Probably it's just a 1-2 times a week thing with the ability to take it on vacations and to pick up my car for service or cause I was drinking. After getting three bikes stolen here or more like 2 1/2, the convience of a fold up bike to take inside with me if it will be unattended for a while is important.

So I got rear-ended by someone at a light about 3 months ago. After all the insurance stuff settled I was recommended a place in West Chester. Long story short, they didn't complete the work on time, promised it in one day, then two, then they said they needed the car over the weekend, etc. So I took it back from them and haven't had the work done yet. This was probably August.

Insurance company cut a check so I do want to get the work done soon. Would it be a good idea to provide the new collision place with the detailed estimate papers/estimate price so they have something to go off of? Or is that a terrible idea? Plz advise thx BSG
