I want a Republican to root for, but even the best of the current crop of leaders or POTUS candidates are twisted by the nitwits. There really is no voice for fiscal conservatism, given all the shouting over the social "conservative" list of gripes.

Your fiscal conservatism is stark raving fiscal ignorance. The structural changes we're experiencing require policymakers who can actually think, rather than spout bromides that were ridiculous when new.
