It's shifted left on spending and to the nitwit side on social issues. Doc Smoove said Clown Show and that understates it.

Not sure there are any wimmen or nonwhites left to exclude - just sad angry clowns nostalgic for a 1950 they never personally experienced.

I want a Republican to root for, but even the best of the current crop of leaders or POTUS candidates are twisted by the nitwits. There really is no voice for fiscal conservatism, given all the shouting over the social "conservative" list of gripes.

On a related note, not sure why all the hate here (and gross misunderstanding) of Libertarians. Libertarians and Democrats are step-for-step on social issues.

Pretty sure you don't know your left from your right. Clowns like Ryan are still fronting for economic "theories" (they don't merit the label, but let's humor him) that were discredited DECADES ago.

Your fiscal conservatism is stark raving fiscal ignorance. The structural changes we're experiencing require policymakers who can actually think, rather than spout bromides that were ridiculous when new.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Left or right don't matter so much.

But the issue of growing subsidies for unproductive behaviors serves to shift people from working class to dependent class. How much of that does Europe need to demonstrate before Merka figures it out?

I'm with you on the - for now - larger issue of the very rich effectively buying the tax laws they want.

Christie says Obama should leave office early... I say, I'll take what he drinking. WTF makes him say stuff like that. 'I work up today and over my daily jelly doughnut I though how amazing it would be for the sitting president to GTFO of my White House', the Jerk from Jersey.

an interesting piece on our failure in Syria, which it lays at the feet of Obama. I agree that training idea is fool's good and useless, seeing as we have not been able to do it anywhere for going on 15 years now; however, I do find it weird that we are looked at as the nation that must come into Syria and arm the rebels (whoever they are). We would've armed parts of ISIS. We would've armed others that were nominally OK but were completely unready and unable to attack Assad's regime. I don't get WHY we had to arm the rebels. What is and has happened in Syria is terrible, but NO ONE in the world stepped in back in 2012. Perhaps if we didn't destabilize Iraq and have a terrible person leading Turkey who is currently going after Kurds, I would've been fine with doing much, much more on our own.

As it is, we needed an actual world approach to the civil war. Waging into the middle of a civil war with no idea about what will actually come from the result is bad news. Lebanon is in dire straits right now but there was a burgeoning parallel government that was formed and they had an actual stronghold from which to confront Gaddafi. Between ethnic/religious/state clashes of Turkey/Iraq/ISIS/Kurds, there is no side to consistently back in Syria and nowhere to turn to set up something that will stick if/once Assad is toppled.

I guess I'm alone on this. I don't know how you successfully attempt to decimate ISIS while also working WITH Assad to do that while actually also working against him with the majority of his people. There is no good option.

CNN not allowing Larry Lessig into the debate is pathetic. He has a real message and has more of a fucking chance than Jim Webb of all people does. They went off some polls where he wasn't offered as an option. I mean

if a Democratic voter read this article about how 120 families are deciding who will be President because they have more many than you or I and then read Lessig's platform he'd probably outrun Webb by 110%

Why is Ben Carson blaming the victims in the Holocaust? Terrible. There is no bottom to the lack of empathy, knowledge or caring for what is actually right or wrong. And he doesn't even get any of the history right. This SHOULD be disqualifying, but it isnt.

if only this weren't rank dogmatic kneejerk bullshit, we'd agree. quick run your list of "growing subsidies", alongside it list your "unproductive behaviors", let's look at the budget. Be sure to add in your corporate sops to the roster. And be accurate about that.

I really hope O'Malley does well tomorrow night. I think he's a much better candidate then his polling numbers.

But overall, I'm rooting for Bernie.

Jim Webb could be in it for VP consideration but you're right, what is the purpose of Lincoln Chafee?

He's trying to win the nonexistent right leaning Democrat demographic. Everyone on the right migrated right with the party or correctly realized were in a time where we desperately need liberal legislation.

The Republican debates would be great if there was a Republican version of Chaffee in the race.

"While I think abortions are bad, defunding Planned Parenthood is a horrible idea that would only hurt hundreds of thousands of mostly poor women in this country." *is literally thrown back by cascading boos*

"And shutting the government down over it would be catastrophically dumb" *like 40 guns cock*

he's a one issue candidate, so will he just repeat his mantra for every issue?- "You can't resolve anything until there is a constitutional amendment that reforms campaign finance"

it would get pretty boring quick

I read Lessing's book on intellectual property. It was dumb.

This is kinda silly but he's highlighting an important issue. To not even be allowed in the debate is stupid. This is like the kids' table idea that was also dumb. Just let them debate.

what don't you like about his idea? he has a lot of interesting viewpoints on the internet and how to 'attack' the issues surrounding it.

his idea is fine, I support it

but he has no opinions on anything else, he claims you cant get anything done until his idea is implemented and once he does that he resigns, so for him to debate the multitude of other issues is silly since his answer will be what I posted above in every case

his answers on...

gun control-
"Until you pass my proposed amendment you will not be able to pass any gun control legislature"

wealth inequality, minimum wage, etc-
"Until you pass my proposed amendment you will not be able to raise the minimum wage or close tax cut loopholes on the rich"

Syria-
"Until you pass my proposed amendment you will not be able to stop having the military uindustrial complex influencing our policy"

you get my drift
