I don't know what the work environment is and I love a good prank but this sounds a little bit scary. Probably criminal even.

Happy for you man

I'm bummed out with my relatively new mattress, relatively firm. Could be that we have it on wood slats, although they're supposed to be close enough together to be solid. Should I try a full sheet of plywood or something?

It's a midrange Serta or Sealy or something. I think it was fine on a box spring a couple years ago but weakening recently, since we switched it onto a bed with wood slats. Hoped that putting a plywood sheet ontop of the slats might help

you can probably get away with a piece of plywood. i'm kinda done with springs. every bed i've ever had has been springs and of decent quality(never below midrange) and they've all developed the same sinking and loud springs.

I hear ya. I'm gonna shell out for a great bed and mattress for our "forever" home, but it feels like forever is never gonna come!
