There's some other shops that are good but it depends on what style of tattoo you want.

Thanks, I'm gonna check it out. I want to do a tree and roots from my forearm up to my bicep all in black. I drew a half asses version of it on myself today and I thought it looked pretty good. Any clue what something like that would cost?

i realized it was dumb to post an estimate when in reality i have no clue, just going off of second-hand knowledge when jtk or others probably actually know the real answer.

Yeah, I have absolutely no idea how long something like that takes or how much it costs, I know I just have to go out to this place or another and ask these questions, I'm just trying to figure this out. Up until about Thursday I had never seriously considered a tattoo before so im trying to learn as much as I can to really get a sense of what I'm getting into with all this. I drew a (really shitty) kind of thing today to get a sense of what it would look like and I thought it was pretty cool looking actually.

I think it looks cool. i like the idea of a tree growing, like life man. Branching out and changing while your roots always are where you came from.

how long it takes will pretty much determine what it costs. i know pretty much every tattoo artist charges an hourly rate.

most competent artists will be at least 100-150 an hour. if its just one color then it won't be that bad. can maybe get the whole thing done in one trip(4 hours maybe?). so i'd expect 500$ for something like that.

It will look like this

My daughter is named after Harper Lee, so I have a mockingbird on my forearm already. this will go on the right side of my arm, near my bicep. I agree on the $500. The color thing shouldn't change the price too much, since the bird tat has color and wasn't really different from if it was all black.

This guy I don't know called me a little while ago asking for Keith, and I told him he had the wrong number. He called back a few minutes later and left the most remarkable voice mail:

"Keith, this is Nick Lombardi. Just an update, I know now, uh, that not just the King, that's the Crowned One, this is actually the fulfillment of... of the thousand-year reign of Christ. It's not referring to Jesus Christ, it's referring to Anointed, which is me. Um, I know this now, so... so I have a Facebook page where I'm contacting people about stuff that I know as far as upcoming events and um... stuff like that. I don't know if you have Facebook or not, um... but anyway I thought I'd let you know a little about [could not make out, maybe "gate"? ]. Anyway, we can talk if you have any questions or, you know anything. But uh, yeah I'm just staying in touch with people with Facebook. I imagine that God's gonna make Boston kind of a hub center for Israel, once shit starts to go down. This month is supposed to be a big month for lots of world issues. So I imagine that people are going to start to come to Boston, where I am, and then in time we're going to start getting shipped over to Israel, uh, when shit really starts to go down, aliens and all sorts of catastrophes and stuff. Uh, give me an email back, if you'd like, but I thought I'd give you a little update, at the time I thought about you. Uh, I hope you're well. See you."
