People have had to put up with construction and USAir in recent years , and certainly both of those will sour people. And 20 years ago it really was the worst. But , I agree, nowadays it's perfectly serviceable. Miami, Newark, Atlanta among ones i'm pretty familiar with are all a good deal worse (though busier). Portland, OR is my favorite airport, but that's probably because it has like eight gates.
