Seems like this issue spawned from nothing but angry words. There is nothing to indicate Kelly is racist.

I can somewhat relate with Kelly here: when I was coaching I was never the back slapping, be your best friend type. For a lot of players, they want that kind of relationship with their coaches.

Pretty clear to me that Chip has some form of aspergers. He's obsessive to the point of excluding anything else when it comes to football, can be awkward, doesn't really handle the "human" element well in his relationship with the team, etc. That doesn't mean he won't be successful, but it's also why I laugh when that asshat Florio makes up rumors about him skipping back to college: you think a guy like him likes the glad handing and politics of dealing with boosters, player's family members, etc?

I get made fun of at work for eating string cheese like a kid. What kind of animal bites into a cheese stick whole?
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

well there you have it, chip is on the spectrum. alert the media!

seriously though it's possible to not be good in social situations/a good communicater and NOT have aspbergers.

I also think a lot of this stuff about his personality or lack thereof has been overblown.

Hard to figure out what's most annoying about the HitchBot hoax: That some are still treating it as real, that everyone's jumping on the bandwagon as the first to spot it, or that it hasn't simply gone away, reducing the publicity payoff for the asshats that orchestrated this.

Suppose it coming out in the open reduces the chances of them riding to the "rescue" by producing the head, but it doesn't sound like all that much went into producing it anyway.

so are you saying this wasn't real? As is with most topics, everything I know about this has come from BSG.

Well, Hitchbot is real, and some level of destruction is almost certainly real. But Hitchbot fell into the hands of a guy who puts together a pranking youtube channel , originally bfvsgf, now prankvprank. doing stuff like putting baby powder in his girlfriend's hair dryer etc.,(I've actually bumped into a few of these in my more insomniac hours) though at some point the production has become more elaborate, and I've even heard talk of a tv show on CMT. One of his entourage is a guy who sometimes goes as Always Teste, wearing a Randall Cunningham jersey and playing a typical dumb Philly Bro, though it doesn't seem a lot of a stretch.

Anyway, not sure how he encountered Hitchbot, but it shows up in another video where the feature is him flying a drone over the art museum. He then decides for some reason to dump Hitchbot on a bench in Old City, then show up the next morning looking for him. But Hitchbot is gone! They don't see him anywhere, although they manage not to look the one place ten feet away where Hitchbot's remains actually are. Someone then "anonymously" sends a photo of HitchBot without it's head. Video guy then vows to find surveillance footage showing who did this, and just hours later manages to post it. Conveniently, Hitchbro is largely hidden by trash cans in the very short video, and, less conveniently, there aren't actually any surveillance cameras aimed at the area where this takes place. Even more inconveniently, the guy doing the stomping is wearing a Randall Cunningham jersey just like his pal.

Here's a bit of a summary on reddit. I suppose there's a small chance that someone else really did destroy Hitchbot and this guy is simply using the stomping video to extend the publicity cycle. My theory, though, is that he did the destruction and has hidden the only working parts elsewhere, with the thought that he would at some point "rescue" Hitchbot, have him repaired and reap even more publicity. Whether it's revealed as a prank or not doesn't really matter I suppose, as long as he gets the attention. but it may have become a bit too high profile for him to follow a planned timeline. or maybe there is no timeline: the guy doesn't come across a real genius.

I always get the mixed cheddar and mozzarella kind so I can get the satisfaction of separating the two cheeses.

I've had good luck with Susquehanna Bank Center traffic/parking so far this summer, but that ran out last night. The Steely Dan crowd doesn't like to arrive early and hang out in the lot, so everyone was trying to get there at the same time. I barely moved for almost an hour and missed all but 4 songs of Elvis Costello's opening set.
