Almost booked a poolside villa at the hooters hotel casino Las Vegas for the Star Trek convention in August this morning. I don't know if it was her desire to be the hottest girl staying at the place or she just wanted us to be the king of white trash... Luckily her fascination with sharks landed us what appears to be nice luxury suite at the nugget. What's even better is that I probably don't have to spot her 20 so I can spend a few hours at cheetahs.

I'm in about my third year, which means the 5th or 6th cycle. I want a discounted 12 month contract, but the best deal is the five months for $25. Hard to turn that down.

Nothing. They will do it forever. You can easily get a better rate than what you did, although it usually requires going a month or two without service and getting it for a shorter time frame (usually 4-6 months). I've had a car with SiriusXM for five years now... I've probably gotten about a year of free service through various free trials and paid for another two years of service at around $5/month.

Right now I've got their "All Access" package through a free 4-month trial on my new Outback. I didn't realize they'd gotten some new channels.

I get to 4 months and 28-30 days or so (I put a reminder in Outlook) and call to cancel.

Naturally, they begin to tempt me with "special" deals to stay.

I say "Thanks but that is too expensive. I'm trying to cut my expenses."

Then they say oh wait we're running a special special. One way or another, I tell them what I just paid for 5 months, I want that monthly rate or lower, and I want it for 12 months.

Last few times, they tell me they can't do that but they can give me 5 months for $25, so I take it.

You get to hang with mostly locals and smart travelers. The nugget is pretty awesome and their pool is relatively small but it rocks. Water slide is dope as long as you aren't claustrophobic.

When it gets more near PM me, I can name a billion places to eat down there. Cheetahs is shitty strip joint, but there's a super good BBQ place close by.
