i'm assuming you're talking about 'deductions'. what was april like? If you broke even or got money back, leave it alone. if you owed, lower it to 1 or even zero if you owed a boatload.

Have you tried the irs withholding tool?

http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/IRS-With ... Calculator

If you have your most recent pay stub and a good idea as to what you are going to make the rest of the year, it will calculate what your withholding should be.

I jsut tried the tool. It's saying to change to 0. That means more taxes taken out each check, right?

Yep i was just going to post this. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than deciding blindly.
