Usually it's another libertarian applying the No True Scotsman's logic to the word libertarian. That's what makes it hard to get a coalition behind the group!

A thousand times this. There's no definition of a libertarian because as soon as you agree on one someone else comes and says 'no here's why I'm a libertarian '.

Kind of makes it a bitch to debate a libertarian because you're not sure which of the 59 types they think they are.

Let's have my court and your court decide which court should step in and decide which libertarians are and aren't crazy.

Although to be fair, no one likes to be lumped together with a label only to have that label used as an weapon by referencing something someone once said in support of said label. In other words, you don't have to agree with Sharpton 100% of the time to call yourself a liberal.

Trump sort of brings up the birther thing regarding Cruz.

If that boils over, it would get ... interesting.

He's full of it since Cruz is perfectly American and eligible to run for president by any reading of law, but it is hilarious to see birtherism come back on them.

Man proven innocent of murder after 29 years, the former prosecutor apologizes profoundly. sounds like he was a piece of work at the time, caring more about winning than about justice. he said as much.

Louisiana is refusing to pay Glenn Ford, the innocent man, compensation because he did a different crime from murder. He took some stolen items and sold them at a pawn shop, so they are fighting his compensation for the innocence declaration on his murder sentence.

which candidate or billionaire is paying Donald Trump to fake run for president? Serious and silly answers both accepted.

Bipartisan Deal on Health Care Issues Hits a Snag Among Senate Democrats

Post Specter losing to Sestak, Harry Reid has really carved out a nice spot as my most hated person in American politics. It is my party's great shame that we were unable to defeat him in 2010 because we nominated a lunatic, and the other party's great shame that he is allowed to wield such substantial power. Remarkable all of these hills (this plus the human trafficking bill) the Senate Dems are dying on are related to gov't paying for abortions, given Reid has often professed to be pro-life.
