Holy cow. Went to wawa to grab lunch. I usually pull in the parking lot so I can then come out the other side if i'm intending to head back home (which I was), but as I was pulling up a car pulled out of the last parking spot on the street in front of the parking lot (I usually try to park there if I intend on continuing that same direction toward the firehouse). So I saw that car pulling out and figured 'why not'. Went in, grabbed my lunch (BLT hoagie with spinach instead of lettuce), then got in my car and proceeded home. As I'm pulling into my driveway about 4 minutes later, I heard the police get dispatched to that intersection for an accident, then my fire company got dispatched because a vehicle was on its side. It's a big intersection and didn't think anything of it until someone posted pix from the crash. That's the very spot my car was in probably 2-3 minutes earlier (giving a minute or two for the call to be placed and the county dispatcher to send the PD). The butt of my car was about even with that telephone pole.

Goddamn. I used to park in that spot all the time when I worked nearby. That parking lot is a pain in the ass to navigate

yeah, it's weird. He's a homeboy to me, so you can bet that every other post on my feed is dealing with this. I knew his uncle pretty well. The attitude is getting a little weird, too. Everyone is like "SOMEBODY KNOWS SOMETHING PLEASE COME FORWARD!". Then there was this long discussion about some information that somebody came up with about him being down near the canal and that they found a pillow and blanket where she said. Turns out "she" was a psychic from ohio.

probably woulda turned up by now. Current on the Schuylkill isn't all that strong, and everywhere downstream is near heavily traveled areas. And once something/someone goes over the falls at boathouse row, they usually end up under the Walnut or chestnut street bridges since the schuylkill is tidal up to those falls. 8 days out now and I've gotta suspect foul play.

i found it odd his mom referred to him in the past tense on an abc interview last night. "shane was a good kid" instead of "shane is a good kid". probably just a slip of the tongue and it's not like she was involved, just found it off.

Weird looking at the Kildare's facebook page where they say he was not kicked out of the bar in any way, there really was n incident with the dj booth, just a small accident that everyone excused, and that he merely left just before it closed at two, walked to to the door by a frined who was an employee at Kildare's. also that he was spotted about 45 minutes later on main Street by a Kildare's employee. I guess the narrative on the news accounts about being kicked out are just rehashing what was originally released. I guess the "friends" remained in the bar because they were with a Kildare's employee. Seems odd that they would all just let him wander for about an hour outside.

probably was referencing his childhood and not his young adult life
