Had a close call with the boss lady today. She's going to Yosemite, so I gave her my phone to sort through some of the pictures I took when I was there. I didn't realize until I handed her the phone that the last picture I have is of the biggest shit I ever took. Luckily, she didn't get a glimpse of the brick log.

Wow, that ties in to exactly what was thinking of, though I won't tell you what inspired it. A website called "Interesting Shit", and all it would be was pictures of poop that were interesting because of size, shape or resemblance to famous people. No nudity or even portrayals of people allowed, just interesting shit. Probably work best on tumblr, and it seems so obvious that it probably already exists. Not going to search for it at work though.

I mean I figure people search for interesting shit on the internet millions of times per day. It could be a gold mine if only I had the dedication to follow through.

20, 30 years ago, flying still retained a bit of the glamor and comfort of earlier times. In flight-service was decent or better, boarding was orderly and civil, meals were meh but free. The airports, however, mostly were grim. Awful food and amenities. Gruesome bathrooms.

Today, the on-board experience is at an all-time low. Tiny cramped seats, cattle call boarding procedures, fighting for overhead space, no meals or paid meals, grumpy old stewardesses, delays. OTOH, the airports are nicer than ever. Tons of attractive drinking and dining choices (with the notable exception of Terminal 3 at LAX) and a clean, pleasant, well-lit environment, often with wi-fi.
