yes, that is the verb form- transitive form of "suppose"

The adjective form is actually pronounced a little differently, too- like "suppose id'

if you look at that page they list the adjectivial definitions, then under that the verb definitions. It's sloppy, though, because the examples section where you pulled that sentence from doesn't distinguish the adjectives from the verbs.
