i looked up two places in bucks county for you for the brunch thing. One was permanently closed and the other one long since sold out. Thought that counts though.

got it all settled unless my Dad says he doesn't want to park in the city in which case he can find a place out in Bucks. I know my Mom would rather come to the city anyway

when I texted my bros to let them know the time and place, I got "Why?" and "What are you talking about?"

A unit in my mom's apartment complex in the city exploded and the whole thing got condemned. She only had an hour to retrieve valuables, but it looks like she's gonna get like 20K for the bulk of her belongings. She's going into this sweet extended-stay hotel downtown for at least two months now

I'm really really sorry for the impact it's had on her. But if I'm being honest, she's a hoarder who moves all the time, so this kind of feels like Christmas
