Got home from work yesterday and wanted to shower before going out to dinner... only to find our water was shut off. The water bill was apparently $300 delinquent, so it's fair they shut it off.

The problem is that our landlord is supposed to pay our water bill

I assume you left a flaming turd on his doorstep

There was a mixup with where the bills were going so APPARENTLY it's supposed to be back on at some point today but I don't trust the property management company so I'm expecting problems today.

Except in this case, ending the sentence with "with" actually sounds a bit awkward, even redundant. I think the sentence would scan better if you simply left it out, or rewrote it "It is perfectly acceptable to end a sentence with a preposition". I understand sometimes ending with a preposition really is better, because adding a prepositional object when it is not needed makes the sentences seem awkward and tangled. But the current sentence seems to provide support for the idea that one should avoid ending sentences with a preposition.
