Might as well get your appendix removed if you still have it.

Who knew getting healthy was so deflating. But I know the feeling. I've had three root canals/crowns in the last three years. Suffice it to say, my pain was gone but I felt like shit after having spent so much money.

No gallbladder, no appendix, at this point you are just being held together by duct tape.

the reason i had my appendix out was bc they just decided to take it out while removing what was essentially a second stomach when i was like 2 years old. duodenal duplication. i was sick for a long time and they could never figure out what it was. could barely eat, would throw up everything. they thought it was allergies. i didnt weigh much. good thing they caught it i would have died!

I know it sucks hitting the maximum and paying all that money out of pocket, but at least it happened early in the year, it could of happened in November of something and then you get no time to take advantage of it. My plans out of pocket max is $10k this year, but since it's eligible for an HSA I can dump tax free money into that and roll it over year to year and even invest it. Might wanna look int something like that next year.

Yeah, I definitely screamed at my insurer a lot. Didn't get anywhere but it was nice to vent.

Part of their job description. But seriously, when I vent out on someone like that, I am always apologetic and explain that I know it is the company and not them.
