I have some friends who like the ganja a lot. But I'm afraid there is nothing in this article that surprises me. Marijuana is not a real dangerous drug but it does make you kinda stupid.

Most folks I know who like the herb are real smart to begin with so the effects aren't too bad. But I also have known a lot of folks who burned up brain cells they really couldn't afford to lose.

I went pistol shooting for the first time yesterday and learned that my years of Halo did not help me at all.

Also, not sure it's really for me. I'm glad I did it once just to see what it was like but gun culture really weirds me out.

That marijuana thing--they specifically reference teenagers, whose brains are still developing and thus might be more susceptible and have different reactions to psychoactive chemicals. Also, they said regular users--I'd not at all be surprised that someone who gets baked every day between the ages of 13 and 15 is going to have some negative effects from that. But maybe it isn't permanent.
