That fight ended Marvis' career basically. He fought three more times vs. tomato cans, then retired.

Man there were a lot of not too good heavyweights back then. Quick Tillis; Bonecrusher Smith; Carl The Truth Williams; Berbick; Jose Ribalta.

A lot of them won one of the four titles at one time or another but none of them were that good.
