Went to my cousins house tonight to kick back and she made HOF worthy pizza rolls. Great flaky crust and overall even temp throughout the pizza roll. Fantastic job.

so this woman wanted to borrow my cat to kill her mice and I figured I'd let her since I was moving and it'd kill two birds to have her out of my house. I completely warned this lady that there was a decent chance my cat would be a miserable bitch to her, and... yup, it's just hissing and hiding behind the couch but she's stuck with her until Monday

The neighbors across the street from us are a married couple in their mid/late 50's and the guy's mother has been living with them for the past 2 years or so since her health has been failing. So she passed away yesterday, I'm not sure what her health issues were specifically but she was pretty old, so it was probably a lot. Anyway, after she passed, an ambulance came and about 7 police cars. The cops came around and knocked on our door around 3:30 and asked a bunch of questions about the old lady and the medications she was taking. They asked my wife and I (after splitting us up) at least 3 times each what medications she was on. I'd only met her once or twice after she first moved in with our neighbors and had no idea what was wrong with her or what she was taking other than oxygen (and I only know that because they have a sign up in their front yard that says no open flames allowed on the property because someone is on oxygen). They asked a bunch of other questions too, like if I'd ever seen anything like this before (not entirely sure what that means even).

Is this a normal response when someone dies? I figured it was, but my wife is now convinced that there is a murderer loose in our neighborhood.

Yeah--that's totally bizarre. In the "neighbors committing crimes" category, a guy who used to live across the street from us (and I believe still owns the house and is renting it out, or maybe his parents are running things) has been indicted for sexual assault 4th degree with a juvenile and arson. He's in the "rich kid fuck up" category. I hope he doesn't move back if he ends up skating on any of this.
