currently embroiled in an argument with an esteemed internet user about whether or not "it is fair" to use a 1-3-1 zone in NBA 2k13. someone needs to murder me

dunno why i never toyed around with defensive alignments since when you're playing the big men have no idea how to fucking rotate to the middle and I have to run my ass all over the court just to keep bigs from destroying us inside
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

yup. and the 1-3-1 zone prevents people from abusing guys like dwight howard and tyson chandler just constantly cutting to the basket and dunking on 3 guys. but the downside is that it leaves the corners kinda open unless you're really good about controling the "free" defender (the PF) and covering those spots, so you'll get burned by really good 3 pt shooting teams like the warrior. i just like using it because i am terrible at 1) playing man defense and 2) defending in the paint. also you'll get out-rebounded most games probably

Do you guys play mycareer? I get fucking owned on defense and can't get an A+ rating. Pretty frustrating.

yeah i do, but i get tired of playing one position only. if you play as a big and set screens and grab rebounds you will have many A+ games, but it's hard to do with a PG, SG, or SF, especially when you're still in your first few seasons.

My daughter turns six today. Time flies folks. Only compresses when you get older.

do chicks that carry a few extra pounds age better? a few months ago i saw an old friend's gf that i had not seen for about 3 years. she is in her late 30's and is a yoga instructor and always working out... however in 3 years she looked very rough for her age. almost like she has been a drug user which she definitely is not. fast forward to last night... the one bartender at this one place asked her if i noticed anything about her. well, first i really don't mind if a chick is carrying around a few extra pounds so i was probably the wrong one to ask. however, she probably lost about 15 pounds this past month and it appeared her face aged about 5-10 years. she is in her early 40's and now looks like she is in her late 40's. she says she wants to lose about 15 more to reach her goal. i can already see like loose skin in the arms too. i told her she looked hot before and hot now and didn't need to lose anymore. i have a couple of other female friends that are in great shape, but it seems like when they hit their late 30's things go quick.
