I can't ever remember anything quite like this. Seems like every week multiple US Senators flip on the issue. 50 senators now in favor of gay marriage.

money in politics, man

New York State Senator Malcolm Smith and New York City Councilman Dan Halloran have been arrested as part of a plot to rig the New York City mayor's race.
Smith allegedly tried to bribe leaders of Republican Party county committees around New York City in an attempt to run for mayor as a Republican.
Smith was a registered Democrat.
CBS 2 New York reported other charged people included: Bronx County Republican Party Chairman Joseph Savino, 45; Queens County Republican Party Vice Chairman Vincent Tabone, 46; Spring Valley Mayor Noramie Jasmin, 49; and Spring Valley Deputy Mayor Joseph Desmaret, 55.
In a Jan. 25 meeting in Smith's car in Rockland County, the cooperating witness told Smith that buying the help of Republican county committee leaders would cost "a pretty penny" and asked if it's "worth any price," the complaint said.
The FBI said Smith responded: "Look, talk to me before you close it. But it's worth it. Because you know how big a deal it is."

to be fair, sometimes hannity brings on black people so they can shit on other black people
Guests are also more important than some producers give credit for. The aforementioned O’Reilly and his producers understand this by rotating in the same guests on the same days of the week, even in the same block in the show. The diverse (in all aspects) lineup of Charles Krauthammer, Alan Colmes, Monica Crowley, Bob Beckel, Bernie Goldberg, Dennis Miller, Juan Williams, Megyn Kelly, Marc Lamont Hill, Kirsten Powers, etc. are almost guaranteed to appear the same time and day every week.

pacino wrote:the idea is that old white men are on the vast majority of all sunday shows, nightly shows, etc, which is not very reflective of anything other than the beltway in DC. it's certainly appropriate to highlight when a show steps away from this self-perpetuating 'norm'.
