Not to be outdone by his competitor, the CEO of Domino's Pizza is suing da gubmint for forcing him to supply healthcare which covers birth control. I guess getting your company's name in the news is always a good thing?

don't have a link, I heard it on the radio

there's a lotta dough in dough

not sure why it attracts the likes of monaghan (who probably should have become a parish priest) or Schnatter ("I can't afford mortgage payments on my $30 million house if I raise prices $14 cents on my pizzas for health benefits!")

Just to clarify, Monaghan is the founder of Domino's, but not the CEO. In fact, I'm not sure if he has any interest in the pizza chain, which is now a publicly traded company. His suit is on behalf of an office park he owns.

Speaking of a lotta dough, Peter Lanza has quite a lot: paid the ex-missus close to $300k alimony last year.

$300k & she's home-schooling or self-tending this troubled kid at home; at home with her weapons cache

Lanza's been busy keeping his name out of the news on this terrible event, but I'm not sure that will last. The release related to the alimony was at pains to make clear he had nothing whatever to do with decisions about his son's care, or that she alone had 'the last word'. Not sure if that will be enough to keep his mammaries out of the wringer #1%problems

Dunno if I'd want to be Boehner calling for big reductions in social programs - maybe including programs to help people care for kids with developmental disabilities - in the immediate wake of Newtown

I guess now that corporations are people, they have religious beliefs, too (which are apparently imputed from their founder). I don't get to religious services much. Does anyone have any information about By-Laws, Corporate Certificates or the odd share of common or preferred seen running around churches, synagogues or mosques?

It's good to see a moderate Democrat from West Virginia take this stand.
