My main printer at work decides randomly not to work. Have to keep turning it on and off to get it to work. Ball peen hammer technique is next.

FFS.

I was batch plotting them so they'd come out nice and collated and all I'd have to do is staple and fold them. Unfortunately the 4th page of every set consisted of 2 lines of text, about 10" tall, saying, "AETNE DETAIL". No clue why it was doing it, but it worked fine when I printed out 8 copies of just the fourth page. Hand collating D sized sheets is a real pain in the ass.

Is that the one where you smash your toes with the hammer because it's better than dealing with the printer?

you ain't kidding. i do a lot of 30x42 and it sucks. worse is when i'm doing a rotated border drawing and i forget that i didn't put it in portrait instead of landscape and i have to walk my ass back down to the repro room and print more.

We have reduce company-wide print volume something like 75% over the last 10 years.
I have found that one thing that helps a ton in reducing dependency on hard copies is having a second monitor.

Last I heard, new studies were suggesting that fish oil capsules were junk. Essentially, our bodies don't properly absorb omega-3 unless it's contained naturally within the food.

Naturally, just last week I decided to start taking fish oil and purchased a bottle of capsules. Doomed.

Wait--you have reduced, or you have to reduce? We're talking about reducing here, but we have no specific targets or policies on how to do that. I do think we could stop printing Departmental directories every semester. The one I have from 2008 works well enough.
