I guess it would be hard to find material otherwise.

Interesting. Confirms my suspicions. When I moved to 'burbs in 2000, it was ~5% cheaper to live out here. that was a main reason for the move. Now it's about break even.

You can come chorch with me, SK, though I haven't been doing it since school started. Gotta keep my mind clear for the children -- oh, the children. I'll make an exception when you're in town though.

I don't know federer, but we do have an olympic champion in our little town. And there's this weirdly cute young woman who works in the mailroom who is supposed to be a world class athlete at something. I'm a little unclear what she does. I think it's mountain climbing or one of those strange multi-task sports like Biathlon. Anyway, she doesn't look like a world class athlete, but that's the rumor.

And Pac, if possible, you need to remedy the never-been-to-Europe thing. Do Eastern Europe if western Europe is too expensive. That's why we stayed there last summer.... it's much cheaper.

I bought like 5 of those last year for Christmas presents. Everyone wanted one. If you really want one, I could pick one up and mail it to you, either from here or when I come home for Christmas.

that's OK. Was just joshing.

A buddy and I went to Zurich when we were stationed in Germany. He wanted to go there just to get a Swiss Army knife. thought at was kinda weird.

We did a bunch of other stuff too. Pretty cool city. Everyone spoke English -- even the street performers. I remember walking through Needle Park. I don't think they still have that.

Thanks for the offer though. I actually have a pretty good one somewhere around here. I used to use it a lot.

There's a Gay Marriage referendum going on here in Washington. They are doing some really good pro-gay marriage ads. I'm voting for it regardless but it's nice they have some intelligent folks running their campaign.

Rotoworld does not like Isaac Redman at all. Their updates on him have gone from dismissive to downright mean.

Been seeing a bunch of these lately. Love them.

Getting sick of seeing Rob Mckenna ads every 2 minutes, though.

It's weird that there's been no Obama or Romney signs or ads. I guess since we're safe blue nobody bothers and I've never been outside of PA for a presidental election before. Must just be how it is here.

Oops

A flight attendant with a permit to carry a handgun forgot to leave her weapon at home Sunday morning....The flight attendant, who is an employee of Republic Airlines, which operates US Airways Express flights out of Philadelphia, put her handbag on the X-ray machine conveyor belt as she went through the routine security check

Bigger oops

A female police officer, whom the department declined to name, tried to make the weapon safe by removing the bullets but instead accidentally fired it, Evers said. The bullet that was discharged hit the ground and did not injure anyone.
