worker's paradise, rural china

This reminds me of those republican trips to the Marshall Islands (I think that was the place). Horrible factory conditions, horrible pay, and the republican officials thought we could learn something from them.

They want to turn the clock way back to a time before unions when people worked in terribly unsafe conditions for little pay and no future or chance for advancement. Zero upward mobility would give Mitt an eternal boner. Heck, maybe they can even put kids back to work.

The entire point of the story was that being in America was good because we don't have working conditions like those in China

Just pointing out that those republican officials did indeed say that we could learn something about how to treat workers after observing the horrible conditions.

As a related aside, do you guys think JH believed the Soviets when they said the wall was to keep people out? All signs point to yes.

Of course you'd think it wasn't unreadable until someone challenges you. You're a terribly immature person who's not used to being exposed to those who disagree with you or your methods. Well boo hoo.

re-read my post. My point is that you're the only one who came in here complaining. You made it unreadable. This is almost as bad as the Juan Pierre thread.

Wait, someone's ramblings on a baseball message board's political thread make you want to vote for someone you didn't plan on voting for? Am I reading this right?

I think this thread is fun. And by fun I mean the worst thread on the board. Vox was right.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

Hey guys, labor unions are killing the NFL! The League should just be able to crack down on these uppity refs and pay them whatever they want!

Like back to the time when my grandfather died in the mines at age 26. He started working there at age 12. He was killed in a mine collapse due to insufficient safety protocol. It was two months before my mother was born. They didn't have survivors benefits, no right to litigation, etc. back then, so there was no compensation for his death from the coal company or government. As a result, my mother was raised in poverty, living in her uncle's "company" house with no indoor plumbing with her mother and two aunts (and the uncle), and eventually dropped out of school at age 15 to work in a textile sweatshop (with her mother and aunt) for a 2 cents piece rate.

did she try to get a 2nd job? I only ask because she sounds like a terrible burden to society. :(

Nah, he said almost. He wasn't engaging in that absolutist nonsense that pacino espouses in this thread.
