But yeah, pretty solid living experience there. Really liked Graduate Hospital, more affordable rents and I could still walk to work at 18th and Market.
The section 8 government housing at 16th and Catharine is also a plus if you're into late night domestic shouting matches that carry out onto the street if you're lucky.

I'm on Montrose. Used to be at 21st and Christian. And yeah, the rent isn't bad and I walk to work at 8th and Race all the time. Going on my third year here and I love it.

ijelly. loved that area. lived on top of wonderland my senior year of college in a debacle of an apartment, but always had to park at like 20th and south. got banned from tangier's.
