Moving out of the city and into my girlfriend's basement...I'm going to miss 16th and Christian a lot.
However, saving 900+/month for rent and utilities for the immediate future is completely gratifying.

But yeah, pretty solid living experience there. Really liked Graduate Hospital, more affordable rents and I could still walk to work at 18th and Market.
The section 8 government housing at 16th and Catharine is also a plus if you're into late night domestic shouting matches that carry out onto the street if you're lucky.

I'm on Montrose. Used to be at 21st and Christian. And yeah, the rent isn't bad and I walk to work at 8th and Race all the time. Going on my third year here and I love it.
