his portion of the show is essentially pointing out ludicrous and hypocritical statements by Fox and or Republicans, often times contrasting it with footage highlighting the individual or institution saying or doing the opposite under different circumstances. this is useful and I appreciate that, but lets not pretend lying and bullshit is fully the domain of the GOP & FOX. I'll admit I've seen him go after Obama, Corzine and a few others on the Dems side, but disproportionately so.

To say he's a hack is to acknowledge that he's a comedian. And if you acknowledge that he's a comedian, you should probably be willing to deal with his biases. Comedy is not neutral.

I don't know, I think it's a little simplistic to just say 'It's comedy.' a good chunk of his audience doesn't consume it that way; they check in daily to feel updated on the news. maybe it's not his fault, but it's more than just comedy
